Headed to Saigon January 16

Thursday, 16th

Our driver picked us up in the morning and drove us to the airport in DaNang. We were taking the morning flight to Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon).

When we arrived in Saigon, about an hour flight, we took a taxi to our hotel.

The Ocean Hotel, what a spot!! We were on the Main Street, the rooms leaved a lot to be desired and we gave it a minus one star rating. We decided to spend one night here and figure out what to do in the morning.

Jon picked us up a little treat at the airport to celebrate our arrival in Saigon.

Supper at a vegetarian restaurant. We have been eating only vegetarian food and have had some intertesting dishes.

The wireless access has been great, but we can't figure out why. This is a typical telephone pole.
